Dang it, Johnny...you just HAD to go the southern route! My trip is already 2317 miles one way! How long is that route? I also don't know what I'm doing about stopping quite yet as there's no way I'm driving the 35 hour drive in one shot! LOL Thinking of camping....

Might go direct from Coos Bay or Portland now and the south route home.

Can't remember where I posted the other picture, but here are some more shots of the parking lot and the abandoned park next door. Checked it out as of last week and it seems they are cleaning it up, but not sure what they are doing with it. I am very certain it won't be open before SDAC.

Minibike races on that course would be awesome, and probably deadly.

And probably illegal, but I don't think that has stopped anyone at SDAC before.

Here's the aerial. This is a little old though, but the overall layout is still the same.

Joy made the reservation for the hotel the other day. I just confirmed that I have insurance, so I'm down for the illegal minibike racing.

Yep, looking forward to SDAC, like I do every year. Probably the one event that I won't want to miss, ever.

Not looking good for me, unless I can round up a stock computer somewhere to run in the black car. Or drive the Charger 2.2, but then that's 8 hrs of 3500-4k rpm

    Re: Sdac 26

Well, although i do look forward to 26, i'm feeling pretty darn discoursged that i've only been able to go to test&tune ONCE this entire year!
Coupled with the inherent radiator issue, i'm just not very confident in the racing prospect.
I did sort of drag my feet with installing the CSR pump, so now I'm not sure i want to take that plunge last minute. Although, i guess that would prevent the high rpm cap lift, it just might create an issue before the engine is warm and the tstat is open. And what if the current cheap aftermarket radiator can't handle the normal flow of the CSR pump? That might be a test for another time.
I know it will be a good time, but i also know it could be better. I guess all it would take for me to be happy would be to come close or beat my current best pass.
