Been a seriously long time since I've seen that quality of paint work and finishing! Awesome.

    Re: SDAC 2016 Project RedBox

    He forgot a few pics.

    Underside of hood

inside of doors should look ok

This is the 2nd round of clear straight out of the booth. Needs wetsanding and buffing to flatten it out a little more...

    Re: SDAC 2016 Project RedBox

While I cannot see the actual quality in person, I'd say from the pic that wet sanding is just a process and not necessary. Excellent work!

That comment was from a guy would drives around in a flat dull world, he just doesn't get it. I agree that a good color sand makes an absolute world of difference. It sets apart the good paint jobs from the great paint jobs.

Listen here Canadian Maverick, my flat looks great and you know it. I remember you telling me you couldn't wait to paint the Shadow that color once you got it running again in the spring of 2024 (conservative estimates).

I'm telling you, it's going to be at the Microtel behind the Costco. I've listened to that fact over the last two SDACs at a minimum.

Everyone is going to show up at that hotel and wonder where the party is.

I'll be leading the charge. In all seriousness, it will be perfect since we can stock up at the costco and push the cart right back to the hotel. The nice little drag strip they have is going to be sweet too.

Are shopping cart drags anything like table races? Those were awesome and injury free IIRC

Awesome and injury free is an SDAC rarity. I didn't want to spill the beans about it, but I had a bracket already made up for the shopping cart races.
