Here's an all-metal radiator, new in the carton, for Turbo-3 cars—Spirit R/T, IROC R/T, Phantom R/T. It's the twin-row high-efficiency rad specced for the severe-duty cooling package on Mexican-market cars. Brass/copper soldered construction that can actually be repaired, not like the throw-away plastic 1-row rad they used in the US/Canada cars. Correct configuration to bolt in place of the plastic radiator and accept the stock hoses, intercooler, etc. $392 or best reasonable offer coming sooner than later -- send me a PM. Carefully-packed shipping from Northern Michigan. Click any of these pics for a larger version in a new window:

How were you able to get it? I know these came to the forum's attention recently, but I hadn't heard of anyone being successful in ordering or trying one.

I was in the right place at the right time in 2004. It was a test purchase to see if the right item would come in, and it did. But the pipeline closed before I had a chance to go for more of them. This is the only one I have, which I guess means whoever buys it will be able to say "I was in the right place at the right time"!

This looks like the rad I need for my 16 valve TC. My current rad has plastic end caps and is leaking so needs to be replaced. What are the actual dimensions of the core itself? I thought I had an all metal replacement lined up but it turned out to be approx an inch and a half too tall and the hood would not close. If this is a drop in replacement I will buy it from you.

Howdy, Jim. I'll get precise measurements made for you and report back, soon as I'm able.
