WTB: custom or different TIII valve cover

I've always wanted one of these Chrysler-Lotus valve covers for one of my TIII builds.

Are these even remotely available? Probably not, but you never know.

What about something custom? I have a terrific "Spirit R/T" cover, and an awesome "Shelby 16v" cover repop (as well an original), but just looking for something different and would pay/contract this out if anybody is interested and has the ability to make something really cool/nice.

Heck, maybe just a "Mopar Performance" or "DirectConnection" cover in the appropriate font could be really cool!

I can be contacted privately via PM or via email: jeremy%mitchell@bresnan%net (replace the % with periods obviously) if you are concerned with copyright infringement, I will not say a word and will deny any knowledge of source.

I have an idea, shave the valve cover words out, then create steel inserts with whatever you wording you want on it. When it's done, it'll be easily changeable and you'll have the wording you want. All you need access to is a someone with a water jet machine and design the wordings.

Maybe a consensus on a *new* custom valve cover and a group buy for TIII guys could make this happen.

"Daytona IROC R/T" certainly comes to mind or maybe even "Dodge Omni GLH Turbo". I'd sure like a repop of that Chrysler-Lotus valve cover though.

I'd really like a Chrysler Lotus cover also.

Re: WTB: custom or different TIII valve cover

A couple years ago the "Shelby 16v" reproduction covers were available and I thought they were very affordable. Not to mention A+ quality.

If enough people expressed interest, maybe it's possible. Finding Ben Bentley convincing him to give up a Chrysler-Lotus cover (temporarily....you know, for R&D) might be pretty tough though.
