    Question 1989 2.5 turbo crank sprocket

    where can I get a new or mint crank sprocket for a 1989 2.5 turbo ,also looking for a tool to take the old one off, any help on this would be great

    This is the tool needed to remove/reinstall the crank sprocket.

    is this the correct tool for the five bolt crank sprocket?

    Ever thought about taking your new sprocket puller and going to a salvage yard and pulling one yourself? Not being be a sarcastic wise-guy, but if I had a puller and needed a sprocket, that is what I would do. Salvage yard cost would be probably $10 or less. I understand that there is not as many 2.2/2.5"s vehicles in the yards anymore, but they're still plentiful enough you should be able to find one in the nearest salvage yard to you. They really don't wear whatsoever or rust much, so finding used opposed to new should be acceptable to most people.

    Interesting, in my area there are no JY I could find with our cars. But you can buy a complete car for $200-500. Now if I had a large driveway....

    Hi I just picked up two 2.5 (89 and 90) tonight.
    I can double check later tonite, you need a round tooth correct?
