Use the CSX to debug the initial Reliant drivetrain and when I get the chassis back be able to drop it in and hit the track at once.

Something fairly modest, crazy time comes later after my FWD feet get wet again and the chassis de-bugged.

I slept more when I was younger and had more energy.

Ironically I get more done now from proper planning, patience and having more time due to the lack of sleep.

Garage update- A few days off from the car stuff.

I pulled from storage my NFL Blitz arcade cabinet and started working on it. Had no plans on doing so really, I was just going to pull out the Blitz 2000 game PCB and sell it off. Ended up pulling out the defective 25" CRT monitor, installing a 27" LED widescreen, stripping the side decals, cutting a foot off the backside (shortening the cabinet so its more shallow) and spent several hours repairing and making the wiring somewhat more respectable. Added 4" aluminum diamond plate strip along the bottom to protect and fix the cabinet.

Could have gone further with the cut but this is a nice balance of size without throwing the proportions off. Need to head out today to pickup some plywood to finish the back.

The wiring was really bad, lots of stuff had been bypassed or eliminated and just left dangling. It was originally a Sega Virtua Fighter that had been converted to NFL Blitz by an arcade operator and had not been done in a nice fashion. Lots of wire hacks and other shortcuts.

Going to do some touch up and decals and see how it comes out, should look rather nice when done in the corner of the garage. Toying with the idea of fitting a PC inside it with an emulator and other PC games but tinkering with some way to swap systems on the fly.. Seems a shame to not use that big 27" widescreen with some modern hardware.

    Still plugging away.

Arcade- Wired up the cabinet interface module and high jacked an amp from a set of PC speakers. Did some touch up paint. Learning how to install MAME front end Mala (control software for emulation program) Currently populating the program with ROM's I and Faith like.

Have about 80 classic games on the main emulator (games I like) and 1400 on the secondary emulator (was just a bulk setup) and a half dozen pc games which I'm still tinkering around with the setup.

Garage- Just spent a day installing a stainless ceiling fan and speed controller.

    Re: Relentless 2016

Fighting an ugly cold the last two days and up to our eyeballs in snow and cold weather!

After clearing the driveway and vehicles warmed up and rested by changing out the joysticks for the new HAPP units that came in the mail Saturday, wired up the player 2 joystick and 3 buttons to the interface module and changed out the marquee with a random one from the collection (Rush 2049)

Found out Gauntlet won't allow a player 2 without a player two coin slot signal! DOH! I'll have to add a second button... Kyle and I had an hour long match battling Terminators...

Legend is a strong term, I was just a guy having some fun.

If it helps stir interest in the Turbo Dodge community, its all good.
