Where are people getting functioning Supra Turbo PCV valves?

Subject pretty much said it all. I ordered one from Oreallys and they stamped some #'s and stuff in the plunger inside the valve so you can blow through it as it's not allowing it to seat.

Anyone find a good one that seals properly???

For under $9 shipped, really not worth a trip to auto parts store and hope they might have one that works.

For a stock car, or if you're using the stock rubber nipple on the back of the valve cover it's not better Johnny, if you're using mopar parts. But I'm moving the PCV valve and installing a catch can/ breather setup and the supra valve is straight with barbs on each end so it's easier to just stick somewhere.

Will it work laying down on its side?

Re: Where are people getting functioning Supra Turbo PCV valves?

The supra pcv valve is available at any Toyota dealer. In most cases, it can be had next day. It is a durable all metal construction with a spring to keep the check valve settled, much like the original mopar pcv valve. The advantages is that it does not leak boost pressure compared with most aftermarket pcv valves that you check by "rattling" it. It will work laying down on it's side. Disadvantages is that it does not have the 90 degree end on it to make it a drop in replacement. On both my cars that I use it on, the hoses are pliable enough that it will work. On one car I tried it on, the dry rotted hose quickly broke using it.
Why you would use it: to replace an old aftermarket pcv valve.
Why you wouldn't use it: it costs $6.68.
Why it is better than aftermarket: the check valve always closes and never jams open like aftermarket ones.
Why it is better than oem: it's made of metal.

Because it doesn't leak boost into your crank case.
