Yes same style block was used
Personally, I wouldn't do it. Sure the same style of block was used and it might work OK. But if you were to compare the Masi 16v head's deck and all of it's coolant/oil passages, I doubt it would match up to a swirl head/TIII or anything else perfectly. The gasket is too expensive to take that risk when you could just go to NAPA and spend about $45 for a decent Felpro gasket and head bolt set for a TI/TII build.
There is a good reason why Cometic makes different head gaskets for Masi/TIII/TI/TII... despite using same/similar blocks.

There are enough differences that you can spot right off that would make me think twice.
Coolant passages are enlarged beyond a normal 8v gasket,
The central crank case "breather hole" is blocked off,
The heads oiling route isn't elongated @the head bolt area ... how this might effect oiling to the head would be a question.
Ok, sounds like better sold to a masi guy
The Masi head gasket is for Masi only. It will NOT work on any other combination. How much again? I might be interested.
You can use the gasket if your block and head have the proper finish on them. If the surfaces are not prepped correctly stick to the standard style gasket.

Aside from what Reaper said about the masi gasket being different
Hg is listed on ebay along with other parts.

Yes, it went for 336$ shipped but that included the timing belt, tensioner and intake and exhaust gaskets
All that together for that cost isn't bad. I honestly didn't see that in the description.
I was outbid. I would say somebody got a decent deal. Not great, but good.
You can call Cometic and get the head gasket and manifold gaskets for surprisingly cheap. The part numbers are in the Masi part numbers sticky thread at the top of the 16v sub-forum.
I'm tempted to ask Asa if he can make a billet aluminum spacer for the timing belt tensioner, so that an 8v tensioner would work for this application and bolt straight on. I'd certainly buy a few.
