Find someone that speaks Spanish and call the company up and ask?

Spanish isn't one of the language I know.

I bet you can email them and get the information you are looking for. It does appear that it is correct, though! Kinda funny since IIRC Mexico actually got LESS TIII's than we did! That's kinda sad considering.....

Hi guys. On a slightly different note perhaps you are willing to help me. I have the complete radiator-intercooler-a/c condenser-fan-overflow reservoir set-up from a 91+ Spirit, low miles, excellent condition I'd like to sell. Any ideas for a fair asking price for this? Thanks for any input.

I'll take a stab at this. *IF* it's in good enough shape that it can be used and potentially has a lot of use left, I would say $200-250. With the plastic end tanks it probably isn't any good to anybody if it needs to be recored as the cost in the end would not be economical vs other options. If it were NOS, obviously more. The other options consist of TU radiator, the regular 'ol TI radiator (still available aftermarket) with a FMIC, or finding a good used one like you have.

But they did continue to make an intercooled 8v until 94 maybe 95 and I believe it used the same radiator set-up. I will have to check the one I have in storage from a 94 8v R/T.

I honeymooned in Cancun in '98, there were intercooled 'Spirit RT's' EVERYWHERE then. What I didn't know then and for a few more years is that they were all 8V

Re: TIII radiator found, possibly stock replacement

Reminds me of when I lived in Boston '97. I came across an '85 Omni GLH in the back bay area *exactly* like my own car, which I missed dearly. I had just left my own GLH in Seymour Indiana in the back parking lot of a record store (13th floor?) (long story). Anyways I had enough of the big city life despite how cool the subway was and could't wait to get back to my *own* car.

When I finally left Boston (for lack of finding a job) and took a Greyhound back to Seymour Indiana and walked the two miles in 100'F+ temps with a full suitcase back to the record store, I was beyond happy to see my trusty Omni GLH waiting for me. I distinctly remember having broken door handles and having to crawl through the hatch, but I was on the road in minutes.

The record store owner did inform me that my mom had called looking for me though.. A day later I was back in Minnesota and had the best job ever working with my Dad.

Re: TIII radiator found, possibly stock replacement

I believe all the 90 VNT cars used the same radiator. I have a VNT rad/ic in my 89 Spirit, so the same style fits all spirits as well. I have some leaking endtanks I sort of re-crimped, and one spare assembly, but if we plan to keep using these factory rad/intercooler setups it would be nice to figure out a supplier of stock units.

I am thinking that if I remember right the mounting is different, but not insurmountable.

Getting them would probably be expensive if they have to cross the border. If you have a friend down there who could pull it off, it would probably be a big waste of their time for no money (who here wants to pay a random person to buy and then send 10 radiators through customs?). I think that leads you right back to buying a TU radiator or making something else work. Might need a super trans pacific partnership to pull this one off and thats not something I want.

    You're welcome.

What is the difference between the two part numbers? Is one a thicker core?

I live in Mexico, 10 minutes from the AZ border.. I can buy them and ship them from USPS if anyone needs any. These are from the stock 8V Spirit R/T?

These would be for the "Turbo III" DOHC 16v engine like the Phantom R/T. Although it might be true that the Mexican-only 8v "2.5 Turbo II" would be the same unit. Either way, if you can find them I'm sure you would find buyers here.

And what's the deal with this ones? Are they supposed to be better than the ones you have in the US? What are they made of? I'll start searching here in Mexico for some and I'll be posting here any updates of them.
