using 1986 Daytona gauges in 1988 Daytona Shelby

I have already made the boost gauge work and door indicator by swapping the circuits over, what about the dash ? has anyone done this?

now before anyone asks why I am doing this lol ! let me put it out there that I just happen to like the blue lines going threw the dash gauges !

I'm pretty sure the 88 Daytona has a digital speedo (Know for a fact the 88 LeBaron does), while 86 has mechanical (IE: Cable Driven). Probably still do-able, but it might be worth trying to just swap the faces on the gauges.

you will also need the 86 faceplate / suround trim and the plastic piece where the headlight switch is as these parts changed in 87 - the cut out around the headlamp switch is a different size

the piece for the headlight switch simply clips to the light switch

ps 84-6 tachs are total garbage in many cases and my buddy's 84 tach was dead in 85 - they're really that bad

the 87-8 cluster is a much better piece
