I would like to replace my fuel tank in my 86 Daytona. I'm looking at Rockauto's web site. Dorman or Spectra? I'm guessing Dorman is the better of the two? What have you guys used or like?

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] 86 Daytona Turbo Z C/S with a full 89 Shelby swap, back on the road and soon to be painted (and lose that Oggie Fisher black) 83 Porsche 944, 5 speed, all stock. 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, 5 speed, daily driver. 2017 Trek 1.2 bicycle.
I'd ask if anything comes with it
my spectra premium , bought about 12 years ago in canada came with the seals and lock rings for the pump and sender as well as the straps to hold it in the car
I have no idea if you would get all those parts with the tank today but it's something well worth checking
when i got a new tank for my csx cause i threw out my old one by accident, i went with the spectra tank made in canada and it was a quality piece. save your old tank cause you'll need the roll over vent valve in it and the grommet
Turbo Joe
----------------------- 87 CSX #175 TIII powered, MegaSquirt3 Pro Ultimate, GTX3076R, Turbo Joe header, Lengel intake, Menegon ported head, the list goes on
I've used both, and they both worked great in my SC's and Rampage.
