    Speedometer Issues

Been having intermittent issues with my speedometer in my Daytona. I thought it was the sensor itself so I just replaced that yesterday and the problem still persists. What is happening is sometimes the speedo bounces, ill watch the cluster and I could be accelerating up to 40 as an example and the speedo will rise to 80 and just bounce all over the place and then eventually settle on the actual speed the car is traveling at. I am running MPScan at the same time and the computer is seeing a huge range of speeds so I am thinking there is an intermittent short or bad wire/connection somewhere between the sensor and ECU. Anyone have any ideas?

IIRC, it's usually on the board in the gauge cluster. Clean and check the tracers on the board. I would put dielectric grease on all connection too 4 good measure.
