How would you fix this? BMF intake problem.

6 out of the 8 bolts holes line up, two bolt holes didn't. Close, but bolt won't bolt to it.

I verified the bolt holes pattern of the head, they line up correctly. Somehow, the number 3 runner is not dead on.

    Options,

#1 My friend says to oval the holes on the intake manifold

#2 Drill and tap the head to use heli-coil and move the bolt holes to line up with the intake manifold

#3 I'm not even sure if cut and weld is an option due to how the intake manifold is built

    Need expertise here, please.

Go to Harbor freight and buy the $3 taper reamer. Bout half a dozen twists from the gasket side should do it.

Yep! Enlarge the bolt hole in some manner, done!

Looks like the runner piece was off-set slightly to the right when welded and/or moved while being welded.

So long as washers are being used under the bolt head, the load will be spread out the same as if it were dead-on.

Got a tig welder? Heat up the side that it needs to move to. Should pull it that way.

I'd say stud it and force it over. But then you've got to do something about the counterbores for the normal bolts. I'm gonna turn some aluminum "washers" to fit inside the CB's and then stud mine. Twisting bolts into aluminum is not what I like to do.

On another note Tryingbe, where'd ya get the gold heat foil and how much was it?

This was barely enough to do the intake manifold. Silver tape doesn't stick as good as gold, I was told.

Is the runner to port correctable or does that line up OK?

No idea. I guess I can check to see how it match up to the gasket.

I always make a template out of a piece of sturdy plastic(I use old medical Xrays because they are easy for me to get) and fit it to the 'upstream' piece, in this case the BMF. Make sure its a nice snug fit in the bolt holes so when you flip it over and transfer it to the head, you will see any port mismatch. As always, the 'downstream' component in the airflow path needs to be slightly larger to avoid and reversion of airflow.

Gas torch if you're going to try heating the runner. Is it 6061? It will screw with the ally temper but I'm not sure that is a big deal for a manifold runner. Or maybe tig if you're trying to re-do the weld area. I like the stud it and force it over idea best.. to keep that match on the port.

Took the manifold, and drilled 1 hole to 23/64 and another to 3/8 and that took care of it. Will use some washers underneath them.

    Thanks for the ideas.

Can it be shifted Over with a Porta Power (triangle shaped) Spreader? Either that or start those bolts first and do the rest? Good Luck
