MAP sensor location 84 Turbo K-Cars

I HAVE a MAP sensor (new part), I just can’t find the old one to switch it out.


The one diagram I found shows it on the firewall (passenger side) next to the AC Evaporator connections. On my car, NOTHING is there.


So I’m curious if anyone else’s car is the same as mine, or different. Mine is an 84 Turbo LeBaron. The 84 was the first turbo year, and many other components are unique to the 84.


Photos of other 84s (passenger firewall, by the AC Evap) and/or an actual MAP sensor in it’s “native” location, if in fact there is one on the car, would be very helpful.

should be right over the logic module.

The MAP sensor should be bolted to the Logic Module, which is behind the passenger side kick panel inside your car. Right in front of the door.

Weren't some 1984 only MAP sensors located above the logic module, behind the glove box ??

Also, wasn't there a MAP relocation kit that used a later style MAP close to the strut tower ?
