86 omni glhs. 87 lm module with custom cals.
Symptoms. The car starts fine, idles fine and anything over 1/8 throttle and car runs great. But it is when I shift out of first into second or even third or when cruising I seem to notice it the most. If I let off the throttle when cursing and just slowly step on the throttle (as to keep up with traffic at a steady pace) The car stumbles and shows lean up to 17 for a split second then goes back to normal. If I really ease on the throttle I can make it happen for a little longer. What could this be?
I have tried different cals from different people and still the same thing. Thought this would rule out the cal thing, although this could still be a possibility.
I tried to check the TPS for a dead spot. With an Ohm meter it seems to slowly go up and down with no cut outs. What would the Ohm meter do in a dead spot, cut out?
I do not think it is the injectors, because the idle is fine and I ran some sea foam through there not too long ago.
Any ideas?
Thanks
