I would have the head pressure tested, I don't think that coolant residue is coming from any cracks and a cookie says those cracks don't leak. Every used turbo 8V head I've ever seen has one or more of those. I've only ever had one head need to be replaced for a leaking crack and it was in a different spot traveling up the spark plug valley(where the socket fits when you're installing/removing plugs).

yea one's between the valves are normal. Like alan said get it pressure tested for sure.
I agree that those crack are normal for these heads, but seeing the evidence of coolant around the valve seat on #4 is not promising.

The engine seems very corroded, maybe sat a while in salty air??
Might be a good tome to check/replace freeze/frost/expansion plugs etc.
At a glance the head looks O.K., just corroded some.
Thanks
Randy
There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.
