Looking for a couple RUSTFREE 1984-1989 Dodge Omnis or Plymouth Horizons

    Date: 15th September 2015
    Username: Jcwv
    Full Name:John Cooper
    City, State, Zip:Weirton, WV 26062
    Contact: jcwv@att.net
Selling or Wanted Price: $2500.00 or less
Description: Like the title says. I'm looking to buy 1 or maybe 2 RUSTFREE 1984-1989 Dodge Omnis or Plymouth Horizons. Must be absolutely RUSTFREE. I have plenty of turbo motors and computer/wiring harnesses but the rust in the Northeast SUX! At this time I'm staying on the eastern side of the Mississippi River so anywhere from Florida to Maine is doable. Prefer black but what do you have? Thanks for looking, John

Down here in NC they are still driving them!
I saw a rust free example a couple days ago driving around. It was gold/ beige colored.

I'm surprised I have gotten NO offers at all. I know these cars are getting hard to find but I didn't think it would be this hard!

Rust free L bodies are hard to find and difficult to part with.

I know! If I want to exchange lifetime brakes at either Autozone or Advance Auto I have to order them in from the warehouse in advance. They no longer stock parts for them.....sad.

Are you wanting a turnkey? Would a GLH-T work?

ABSOLUTELY! But still has to be RUSTFREE! I have friends in Atlanta and Charlotte plus family in Montgomery helping me look.

I should have included in the original post that I would also be interested in GLH/GLH-T's and be willing to pay more depending on mods. I really love these little cars. I currently have 1 N/A Omni, 2 N/A Horizons, 2 N/A Chargers, 1 GLH-T and 2 86 GLHS's (#135 & #170). Not all are running (some are for parts). My daily driver is an 89 Horizon and at least once a week I get a comment from someone saying how they used to have one or learned to drive in one and that they wish they could have that car back.

That link doesn't work. What do you have? If you read the above post I said I would be willing to pay more depending on mods. $2500 was a limit for a plain Omni/Horizon.

Figures, the link works for me. I'll try again

I have an 85 Omni GLH Turbo. 67K mile, I'm second owner (had it since "87") cars best pass was an 11.55 @ 122 mph. Car can still knock down 27 mpg and run pump gas with the boost turned down. PM me your email address for more details if interested.
