OK, I've been searching here and over on TD.com for an hour, and haven't been able to find the thread I'm looking for. I remember reading a thread about somebody doing an auto to 5 speed conversion on a minivan, and there was a discussion about wiring the NSS.

I just finished the 5 speed conversion on my 89 Daytona, and everything is great except, I have no cruise. This is why I was looking for the thread. I thought in there it was discussed, that if the NSS is just run to ground like the FSM wiring shows, and you still use the auto ECU, the cruise is disabled. Is that correct, or did I dream it? I'm thinking a micro switch on the clutch pedal will fix my problem, but I wanted to make sure first. I can mount it so that when I depress the clutch, it grounds the NSS wire, but when I let up, it will open, and allow the cruise to work.

Anybody know the answer, or can point me to the thread in question?

Thanks,
