    Consulier Weight

How many have actually weighed their cars? What were the results? Supposedly Series 1 cars are supposed to be heavier than series 2s.

    I did mine.

Without anyone in the car. No engine cover (less than 10 pounds), no rear window, no targa tops….

Mike Wah could chime in. His series 2 was just weighed recently.

Had mine weighed and corner weighed during alignment , just gotta find spec sheet.
I have never seen a car that did NOT weigh more then the manufacturer specs

    Re: Consulier Weight

It's a long story on my car and it's weight. They swear it weighs 1850 lbs ish before adding the 350 lb ballast. My paper work says 2200 ish and I called them back 3 times to verify that was including ballast and everytime they said yes.

So 1850 lbs ? I would want to get it weighed again before spreading 1850 lb rumors.

    Re: Consulier Weight

Last thing I read suggested that a series 2 car is supposed to be 1950ish lbs. So 1850 is a maybe I suppose.

I will be back in florida in a week or so. I will track it down. I think I posted alignment specs before, but can't remember if weight and corner weight is on that sheet too.

    Re: Consulier Weight

Blue car just aligned, corner balanced and weighed.
Weight with full tank of gas, and 185 lbs in driver seat was 2180.
That is an SCCA/NASA approved scale.
