Head liner on a T-top car

I love tearing into things for the first time, but with the rarity of any and all T-top related parts, I'm hesitant to attempt to tackle my head liner without being armed with at least some knowledge of what I'm up against. Has anybody done one? Care to share experiences/pics?

I think you have to take off the side panels. That mean the trunk panels too.
Might be easier to remove the nasty stuff and wire brush by hand the residue off the roof panel. Spray the adhesive and install an oversize piece, trim, and tuck the edges under the side panels.
The best adhesive is 3M and a thin spray adhesive. Two coats on the panel still in the car and ....read the directions. can't remember/

    Jon,

I have the complete T-top guide and repair manual in pdf form. PM me your email address, and I'll sent it to you. It gives you step by step instructions on how to replace the headliner.

Same goes for anybody else. If you need it, let me know, I can send it to you...

It's got everything! Bonus: I cracked the housing on one of my door mirrors years ago and have never been able to figure out how the hell to get it apart. This manual has that too.

Anyone that's ever commented on how the T-top cars are a mess of silicone and pop rivets is absolutely right.

Yep, I was floored when I received it a few months ago. This is absolutely necessary for anybody with a T-top car.

PM me your email. I think the file is too big to post here. If anybody knows a way to post it publicly, I'd gladly send it to them.

    Edit:

I just tried, and it's almost a 3 MB file, so it's not allowed...
