    it's a 2.5

scaled the stage 3 cal for 55pph and i'm getting 10.3:1 at 17psi wot.

also ordered a db9 to usb converter so i can set the channel on the lc-1 going to the ecu to a wideband for logging

currently working on getting accurate data going into mpscan.

Ive set the lc-1 output to the ecu to wideband

turned on the wb2nb and set the widebandtoafrtransferfunction to the correct voltage to afr for the sensor outputs

    see this thread
    http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/sh...01#post1091401

now working on getting the data shown in mpscan to match what I see on my gauge. the lc-1 is sending the same data to both gauge and ecu but mpscan shows .8-1 less afr

So I have the gauges all figured out in MPScan. Now how does the logging work with MPTune? I tried to export a log from MPScan then import it into MPTune under Settings>Wideband>Setup Log Data and nothing happened?

Re: datalogging for PefTb tuning in MPTune

    1) in mpscan make sure you log a) rpm, b) map psi, c) afr ratio, and optionally d) tps position.
    2) export the log to a csv file. the headers will be in row 1 and the data starts in row 2. take a look at the data with notepad and make sure you know which column stuff is at.
    3) in mptune settings / wideband / setup log data you need to set the import parameters. i.e you need to indicate which column the data is in. you may need to convert tps volts to a % open scale of 0 to 100. if you don't want to use (or didn't log) the tps info then set the col number to 0.
    4) on a file created by mpscan the data starts in row 2. also, you may want to increase the number of cell hits required before the logged data is considered "good".
    5) the check box for map psi should be checked if the map data uses absolute psi, i.e. -14.7 gauge psi = 0 and 14.7 psi = 29.4. mpscan will typically output "relative" psi vs absolute so leave the box unchecked.
    6) make sure you select the proper fueling table to reference the data to (e.g. was the log taken at idle, normal steady state driving, or pedal to the floor).
    7) then click "import wb log" and the grid should populate.
    8) if you want to clear the grid click reset
    9) if the data looks good then save summarized data. by "summarized" it means that psi/rpm combinations that have more than 1 valid hit are averaged into a single value for afr.
    10) the data should then be available in the peftbl display and is also saved with the cal template if you also save the cal.
    11) if you did save the cal with the data you can come back into this screen when the cal is reopened and "recall" the data to see what it looks like.

Wowzer. Thanks. I will try this over the next few days. I have a fresh .csv file handy to try this on. Raining here for a bit.

Wowzer, clarify please. Headers, row 1 data starts in row2. When I look at the file the headers start on the left and proceed horizontally to the right but the data displays vertically so time stamp is row 1, ret1 is row 2, ret 2 is row 3 and so on....is this correct.
When I use that sequence the data doesn't populate.
