FWIW, I'm using Flickr for hosting my photos and that's working out fairly well. I can recommend it until the on site hosting problems are resolved.

I've bounced back and forth between Flickr and Photobucket. No problems with either, but I've leaned more toward using Photobucket lately for no particular reason.

If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is!
I will have to try hosting the photos I'd like to post. Every time I try it either doesn't work, only works for a day, or I get a message that says I'm over my allowed data quota.
I'd really like to post a PLOG on my Spirit R/T and post pics of my newest TIII build but... no can do. Forum seriously broken/outdated.
Running as a non commercialized site by enthusiasts not driven by profits or greed in the form of endless banner ads has far more positives than negatives I'd like to think. The negative being we don't have a full time or even semi part time paid administrator to continually tweak and fix the bugs as they occur.
There is an active discussion going on behind the scenes to get this place fixed. The end result of that should be very positive and one that everyone should have no problem agreeing with.

1987 Shelby CSX #418. Long term rebuild and restore ?
I get that, and I agree the site is fantastic because of the reasons you listed.
I am anxiously looking forward to what will become of T-M.com!
Yeah, we are searching for someone to take the reins and to move forward on what the discussion in this thread. I just have not had the time and bandwidth to upgrade the site and to maintain it. Luckly we have some very patient users and great people to help moderate it on a daily basis. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
Frank

Any outlook for 2016, Frank? I still haven't tried the demo on a mobile device, but if it works as well as the PC version seems to, I'm all for it. I wish I could offer some programming experience to help out.

Sorry for no update recently. After the SDAC convention this year, I am going to be transferring all of TM to JT. I am going to work with him on the upgrades that need to happen and the money associated with TM. I am working to offload all of my cars and parts, so stay tuned for that.

How geeky? Too bad this wasn't happening during the winter time when the Daytona was asleep. I'll help out any way I'm able.

I'm not sure if I'm able to do the work that needs doing on the back end but I'm available to help where I'm able to.
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
I'll help. I have some IT skills, but have never set up a forum. I'm sure Google has the missing info.
Please keep me in the loop.

I'm at the point that the forum is so slow that I visit here every two weeks instead of several times a day.
This forum is pretty quick on both my mobile and desktop computer.
The other forum is slow on my mobile and quick on my desktop computer. Go figure?
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] 86 Daytona Turbo Z C/S with a full 89 Shelby swap, back on the road and soon to be painted (and lose that Oggie Fisher black) 83 Porsche 944, 5 speed, all stock. 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, 5 speed, daily driver. 2017 Trek 1.2 bicycle.
Can't speak for mobile, but my work desktop, my home desktop, and my laptop, I don't see any lag at all with this site.
