I did this in a Neon, but it's the same for all the cars with the 90+ shifter in them.

Nice video Brian...your Neon enthusaism, and the fact that Ron is picking up a new gem today, has me searching Craigslist for another one

interesting but I have to ask
dude ... have you ever considered selling that voice of your's
me thinks you should be able to if ya tried doing voice overs for adds or anouncements
They certainly are infectious. I'm certain that if I had a 1st gen with about 250HP from a turbo I would never go back. This one will be staying pretty much stock as a result.
I've done very little voice work over the years, but I do get that pretty regularly. The kids at school love it when I read in my announcer's voice. I really need to look into doing some freelance stuff, and I've been saying that for years. I have yet to do it though.
What is the knob height difference with the short throw?
An inch or two. It's not that much of a difference in height, but it's a big difference when you're driving. I'm not sure if this is the same as the cheapo ebay shifters that are out there, but I think it may be. Regardless, it's a pretty nice shifter and I had it lying around so this was a nobrainer.
