Thank you!
Rob we are not comparing apples to oranges here. I am starting with the all stock tune and scaling it where necessary. I tried using the 3 bar tune and had all kind of issues.
My buddies 91 Spirit R/T is running with a tune based off a scaled stock tune, his car runs fine except for the aforementioned issue of the car stalling every so often. I would love to figure that out and get that fixed. His issue started when he swapped in the BB computer and we tuned it. His stock ecu never did this before the chip.
It's a flashable computer, right? In the cal, under options, select the option to disable EMR.
What happens is, the EMR (emissions maintenance reminder) mileage is stored in the EEPROM. Which overlaps the flash memory. The write to the EEPROM causes the ECU to stop. Not sure why exactly.
Where is the option tab, I find nothing under the cal called options?
I was able to locate it in there, I didn't know there were also options in the configuration screen to enable staging limiter and the select able boost, do these features need to be enabled in the configuration screen to be active and functional? I may have found out why my turbonator features were not working!
Thats a new piece of information that I had no idea I needed, Thanks! I will be testing this tonight.
Negative on the staging limiter working after changing the calibration configuration. I have it set to the cruise control "set" switch, can I use the staging limiter without a switch and have it activate any time I'm under 10 mph?
You should, that's how I have my T-SMEC set. Actually I have mine set to 5mph.
For the switchable boost, if I select the cruise control "on/off" switch, should I also be selecting the "boost switch polarity" option on the cal configuration screen also?
I removed the switch for the staging limiter, I set the speed to 5mph, I will test it after work tonight, fingers crossed.
