    I used to use Rockauto for everything, but after some similar issues as stated ive started to shop around more. I've found Advance and Autozone prices have gotten competitive if you have a coupon deal.

    Anyone have a shortblock they want to get rid of? This is getting rediculous.

    Thanks, I can get an engine cheaper from a local yard. I'll have to pass on that one.

    I'm probably too far, but I have an '86 TI shortblock. It ran decent, all four holes had 125 psi compression. 3&4 had some leak down past the rings.
