That van is nicer than alot of vans! West Coast originally and rust free. Going to be a shame to see it sold, but someone is going to end up with a really nice van!

Sorry - I can't remember what we painted this one with.

Maybe i've been under a rock, but what kind of engine setup was in it before and what did it run? Just idle curiosity.

The details are pretty much in the web page: 2.5 with wiseco forged pistons, ported head, larger injectors, super60 turbo, front mount intercooler, built auto trans with high stall and peloquin lsd, etc. I never got it to get a clean pass on high boost at the track. Best pass was I think a 14.1 or maybe 14.3 at 14psi of boost. Every time I went to track something went wrong (leaky water pump got me kicked off after one pass the first time out, popped a head gasket from too much timing second time out, rained out after one pass third time out).

Sorry, no. As stated in my ad, I have too many vehicles and this one never gets driven. I don't need to trade it for another one that will just sit. Thanks for the interest though.

Anyone that has seen this van at 23 will tell you it is worth it.
Rust free body (from CA i think it was) and nice paint job. Looks great with those caliber wheels.
I'd be interested if i didn't have a minivan already.
You don't see one this nice very often.

No doubt. If it were a 5 speed van I would have been on a plane right after the ad came on here.

You could always convert it later if you wanted as you get the parts collected.

When i drove Mini back from Brian's shop, i got like 22 mpg with a high stall open converter. (I do have the .91 transfer gears though) that was running mostly at 3000 rpm's on the highway.
I think there is room to improve that some in the cal.

Tags in hand and bringing it home tomorrow. Jon could not have been more accommodating. Ill take great care of her; and while she will be living in the garage along side the others it will see regular work duty as a small goods delivery van

Enjoy Mike! I'll admit it, this one was really tough to let go of! Also, it all happened so fast - I think there's a few things I didn't get to point out on the van that you might be interested in. The two things I thought about: it's already wired for a CTS sensor for use with custom cal if you get one, and it's also wired for A470/31TH lockup converter (PT Cruiser converter or custom one from other vendors). If you're going to be putting highway miles on it, I would highly recommend an upgrade to the later style lockup transmission. When I had the built 31TH with a 3600 stall, I got 25-26 mpg back from SDAC 23 with lockup engaged and was cruising with no converter slip at 70mph and only turning 3K RPM.

Maybe drop it off at Brian's shop and have a 2.4 PT Cruiser motor/auto trans swap done.

And Wayne - rattling off the awards like that - makes me think you're sitting in my living room looking at the line-up of SDAC awards for the van on my mantle...LOL!
