    NipponDenso starter - cable terminals

On the ND starter in my Daytona, the two terminals that the cables bolt to can be unbolted from the starter itself. They have a nylon casing to separate the power and switch lugs, which is badly heat cracked on mine. Does anyone know of a source for replacement parts? I've had no luck finding them online.

    Thanks,
    Adam

might be easiest to just buy a new solenoid. Cheap enough.

I looked high and low until deciding there is no aftermarket offering so if you want original its either new old stock if you can find anything or good used. I made a new battery cable and used some purpose made 90* terminals. Insulated as much as possible with glue lined heat shrink and then rigid fiberglass strips and very high temperature fiberglass tape (3M) wrapped around it all to provide as much rigidity and separation of the terminals from each other and ground as possible. Our starters are pretty damn hidden so unless its concours inspection nobody will ever even know.
