    Fuel Starvatiom on race track

Was running with 3/8 a tank at Mont Tremblant and as i was sputtering coming out of a right hander (i believe) i looked at the gas gauge and it read empty.

This shocked me because our tanks have baffles.

Kept the tank 3/4 to full for the rest of the event and zero problems.

I had same thing , my bmw was baffled also but much more so. It was almost a full box around the fuel outlet . I don't think there will an easy fix

Car was amazing. 4 wheels drifts on my fastest lap had me back off a little on the next two sessions. Laid down a 2:02 at Mont Tremblant with plenty room for driver improvement.

Next Mod: Proper seats and belts. I need wider tires for the power to hold....I'ts a learning process for sure but this is my favorite track car.

Yeah that sounds good. I figured it had to be great or else you wouldn't even start to lose fuel.
I have the Recaro the the PO installed, but I am putting in my sparco race seats and going to try and fit a seat belt harness bar for my 5 point belts.

Mike, mine does the same even with baffles. Could be loose MAYBE inside, but I don't hear anything when the car is driving so may just be an old poor design that isn't like what is in a newer car today.

It was session 4 day 1. I forgot the last session of the day is 30 minutes long. I pulled into the pits around the 25th minute. Live and learn. A full tank without a passenger / coach is actually a good thing. My car was corner balanced with 180 lbs in both seats
