Just like the title says. I need a dipstick and tube for a common block engine using a 2.5 BS oil pan.

i think theres a chance these are still available new
I was going to check tomorrow at work but figured I would ask here first. I know I got my 2.2 non cb tube from work.
okay for reference
for 2.5L
dipstick tube = 4387575
dipstick = 4483102
Thats from a 90 parts fiche so I would assume balance shafts
Chryslerpartsdirect comes up with $17.51 for the tube, $11.70 for the dipstick.
Not sure if you actually try to order it if they will really have it though..I think there are better parts search engines but I dunno what they are
have the part number for the 2.2 CB tube? just wondering if they are different part numbers since i have both tubes here and they are identical as far as i can tell
From the reading I've done, the tubes are the same but dipsticks are different I think.
Dipstick tubes are still available. They are about $20. The dipstick however is only available from vintage so I'm not sure they are making anymore of them.
If they are only available from vintage, those are the last of them.
Yup. Get them while you can. My cost on the stick was only like $10.
hmm three 2.2L dipstick part numbers in the 90 fiche:
4536-071 "EDF injected engine"
4483-102 "Turbo-intercooled" (looks to be same p/n as 2.5L)
4425-616 "EDD 16 valve"
There are two 2.2L tube part numbers in that same catalog:
4387-575 "Excluding 16 valve" (looks to be same p/n as 2.5L)
4425-617 "EDD 16 valve"
I looked it up for a 94 shadow 2.5l. 575 was the tube and 102 was the stick.

Yeah. I see it now. I found another mirror as well. Thanks.
I'll put another mirror up anyways.
looks about right to me also. It goes a decent amount into the pan and it's not right at the bottom of the block
