    Description:

    SOLD

I have a few non common block 2.2 engines lying around in various conditions.

1- 1986 2.2 Turbo I short block. Thin rods and cast crank. 100,000 miles. This was recently removed form out 1986 GLH Turbo. This engine has 125PSI of compression on all four cylinders, but #3 and #4 showed some leakage past the rings. It ran fine while in the car. Short Block Only $100.00

2- 1988 2.2 Turbo I Long block. Thin rods cast crank. Pulled from CSX-T #764. 100,000+ miles. Ran fine, but the head has cracks along the bolt holes for the valve cover. Long Block Only. No intake, exhaust or turbo. $175.00

3- 1988 2.2 Turbo I short block. Thin rods cast crank. Pulled from a non running 1988 Daytona C/S automatic. Consider this a rebuildable core. $75.00

4- 1986 2.2 Turbo I block and cast crank .020 over. This is a remanufactured Mopar engine that someone over boosted when new. Pistons and rods are shot, but the block and crank are fine. $100.00

All bores are stock unless noted other wise. If no compression info is listed, I do not know the compression. I will not ship these.

I have a few swirl heads too in various condition from bolt on to rebuilable cores. $100-$200 each.

Need any loose engine parts? I'm going to dismantle some of these.
Cranks, seal retainers, intermediate shafts, etc. available.

Going to SDAC? Any possibility you could bring #4 anywhere near Ann Arbor along the way?

Block is ready to go, just needs rods and pistons? Cause I have those. And this would save me having to have my block cut.

Bummer. Shipping would kill the deal for me, I'm sure. Cheaper to just cut the block i have.

Sorry, but I don't have the time to crate it up an haul it to a freight depot.

Any way you could remove the dowel pins for the head and transaxle? I could really use a set to do an engine I'm working on. I'd buy enough of them to do two engines if possible.

Hey Andy - If you do scrap these, would you be willing to pull the main bolt out that has the oil pickup female thread on it? I need like 5 of them to mount a windage tray on my '84 GLH's motor.

I drilled/tapped/threaded the main cap bolt heads on my engine.

    Thanks
    Randy

There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.

Re: 2.2 Non Common Block Engines FOR SAL

Head 1: Cross drilled, roller cam, typical cracks between the seats.

Head 2: Cross drilled, roller cam, typical cracks between the seats. Remanufactured head at some point in its life.

Head 3: Slider cam, not cross drilled, seat cracks. Also appears to have been remanufactured.

All of these are Chrysler heads, not Chinese re-pops. None of these have been ported.
    None have been pressure tested.

    $150 each plus shipping.

Do you happen to have an intermediate shaft for an 86 2.2 Turbo, Trans to cv shaft?
