Yup - here's a shot of the PI decals and resprayed ground effects going back onto the 87 CSX I restored a few years ago:
Weird, I see it, but I'll email it to you just in case.
I would be willing to say it's the sun faded vinyl that faded and changed colors on you. just like the blue stripe in the mouldings has changed color on you.

Yeah that looks pretty close. I don't see why they didn't cut their losses as soon as they started spraying.
