Has anyone made this work with a stock airbox? I was looking at mine installed and I need a spacer for the front mounting point to space out the thickness of the coolant mod.

Is it even compatible and I'm missing something else that may interfere?

Any of them. They all use the same 2 mounting points on the head. 1 of which the 4CCM adapter uses also. A spacer at the front the same thickness as the plate should do the trick.

I'm going to modify the airbox bracket to mount my W2A intercooler in roughly the same spot. So, I need a spacer as well. I'm sure I can find something in my hardware buckets or at the hardware store. Worst case, just stack washers up to get the right thickness. The inlet hoses will be able to flex that 3/8".

If you don't need the bracket to meet tech or inspection, remove it. I didn't put one on my Daytona with the bulky 4th cyl solution that was popular a few years ago. Passed smog inspection.

It's more a matter of keeping near oem look for personal reasons.

So the stock airbox uses the lower rear hole that the adapter plate uses? Wouldnt mounting the airbox on top of the adapter cause a problem with stretching the hose to the turbo or something?

Nah, that hose is about a foot long and you're only moving one end of it laterally about 10mm.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

yep, but it seemed like most people were doing the heater hose version and you can pretty much get those parts at a hardware store for the same price I was selling them for

I actually liked the other set up. If you do another full set let me know and I would buy that.

Re: 4th cylinder cooling upgrade adapters!

Hey!! It looks like I have a few fittings left from the last time I was selling kits!

I dont have 100% of the things needed to make a thermostat-version kit, but you should be able to get the missing pieces very easily.

Heres the whole list of whats in a thermostat kit and how you can get it:

-CNC machined adapter plate + oring (buy from acannell)
-2x 8an to hose fittings (buy from acannell) the ones I have are blue and red
-2x 8an to 3/8 npt 90 deg fittings (buy from acannell) the ones I have are silver
-1 foot SS hose (buy from ebay for $4.23 shipped at link below)
-2x M10 x 1.5mm x 25mm long bolts and washers (buy at auto parts store or hardware store)

    SS hose link:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/STAINLESS-ST...969ad5&vxp=mtr

So if you want to buy the adapter + oring + AN fittings from me, I can do it for an extra $17. So the total becomes $57 shipped to USA.

    For the heater hose version:

You can get a 5/8 hose barb x 3/8 npt 90 deg elbow here:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hose-Barb-x-...item35d3215553

And a 3/4" plug here (or at a hardware/plumbing store):
