Just for shits I tried calling Safelite (800-800-2727) this afternoon after seeing one of their commercials. They say that replacing the windshield on my old Omni GLH is no problem and would be $158 + tax. I was surprised that they are still available and thought I was ---- out of luck. The customer rep told me they manufacture their own so they are not OEM or NOS but...

Jeremy I picked up two spare windshields for the 4 dr's too. As did another MN guy. There will be a time when they become near impossible to find new. When I bought mine, my glass guy said there were 6 left in Twin cities area.

I called them last night and ended up hanging up after they insisted on all of my personal information for a quote and tried to pressure me into setting a date which I told the phone drone was impossible due to the body shop. The website indicated $278 installed for an 87 Shadow.
