I'll keep my eyes open for one for you. What's wrong with the one in there?

When I removed it a few weeks ago I noticed yellow paint writing like the kind you seen on salvage yard parts that said " Plymouth Reliant" and I didn't think about writing down the part number from it. Anyhow, while trouble shooting my non-working cruise control per FSM and finding everything on the cruise checking out OK, per FSM, I seem to remember reading that if the ECM came out of a car without cruise control and was put in a car with cruise control, the cruise control would not work. I was thinking that might be my next option to get the cruise to work.

Oh, that's a good point but I thought that the cruise control programming was in all the ecu's... but maybe that was on the 89+ ones. I'll keep an eye out though.

I don't know if the cruise was in all the ecu's programming or not. I'm going to start a thread in the proper section and maybe I can find out for sure.

Years ago I remember testing an ECU and you could see via scanner that the input switches were working but that cruise did not work. I'm sorry but I cannot recall any other details.
