How many Rampages did Cliff have? When I bought my Rampage RT in '95 it came with a couple pics of a very clean Rampage. At the time I had no idea of the origin or owner. Years later by chance Gary M. looked at em and said it was Cliff's Rampage.

Talked to Cliff, he said three Rampages and a Scamp GT.
In Cliff's own words-
1984 Dodge Rampage:
We bought this car in Florida, the fall of 2004 as a project for my son Matt. He got it apart and kinda ran out of steam so I bought the car from him and finished it and gave it to my wife. She drove it some but with moving and a new house it hasn't been driven for the last year or so. It's time for a new home.
This is a nice clean truck with very little needed to make it complete. The only little rust was a spot on the passenger floor that I cut out and welded in a patch, seam sealed and undercoated. There is a small half dollar size spot on the cowl just in front of the windshield that needs attention. The paint is a Cadillac white pearl and it is showing wear in some areas and has some scuffs and marks but overall is still very nice and shows well. The door handles, power windows and paint were done before we bought the truck. Antenna is missing
I don't have the kick panels and the paint under the hood is pealing. Looks like it was painted before the motor swap and not at the same time as the truck itself because it's a different shade of white.
I drove this truck quite a bit in the first year and a half and it was always a dependable driver so you could come and drive it home with no problems. Here is a list of what's been done, it needs nothing mechanically unless you don't like the tight torque convertor. I have a spare pair of tires with the car.
Motor/Trans/drivetrain:
1984 2.2 T1 motor w/bathtub head. New headgasket, cam seals, timing belt, water pump.
1 piece gasket valve cover
'89 TII intake
TII turbo w/ large wastegate can
Braided turbo lines
+20% injectors
Transmission rebuilt with 5 clutch front, 4 clutch rear, 3.4 KD lever, small spline diff, low stall convertor (light car so no need for a high stall unit)
Shelby Lancer front mount transmission cooler.
Rebuilt axles
New radiator
Car is set up as a non intercooled and has VNT BOV that limits boost to 14 psi.
2 1/2" exhaust with converter and flowmaster muffler.
Walbro 190 pump
Mopar Performance GLHS Stage 2 computer
Body/chassis:
Shelby Charger nose & ground effects
GLHS under hood wiring harness
GLHS dash and under dash harness
Complete interior from '87 GLHS except Rampage specific items which were all painted to match the dark gray color.
Shaved door handles with electric poppers
Power windows
White face gauge decals
2 gauge pod with White face Auto meter boost and A/F gauge
GLHS front springs & KYB shocks
Monroe Rear shocks
White 15x6 pumpers with 205/50/15 tires
New calipers, pads and rotors

I like that one and had talked to Cliff about it when he was selling. I probably would have bought if it had a/c.

I'd do the same...that rampage is much cooler than the glhs in my book.
Khumo's balanced up last night- Nice! Two were spot on and needed nothing, one need .50 and the other needed 1.25.
Have to make up my mind about paint, body shop is jammed up. Thinking about hitting it with a rat rod black paint job in the driveway.
Body shop is NOT looking like a viable option at the moment. Time is running out and I still need insurance, plates, windshield, turbo and rack swap and alignment and the car hasn't even been road tested yet.

well Gary, if you decide on rattle can paint job, the technology in rattle can has greatly improved over the years.. you can actually get decent results from that now if you get the cans that have the improved spray tips. You can also get custom colors mixed and refilled too if you go to a bodyshop supply store and get thier re-fillable brand. As far as a windshield goes, I went with Pilkington glass and LOVE it. My glass guy is a mobile set up so for me it worked out that much better, try looking for someone that can get you a pilkington windshield, installed onsite in my garage was under $250 I beleive? with trim too..but the trim isn't perfect but close enough.

Nah- I already have a HVLP gun. Were going to setup the garage with a paint "booth" with plastic, sand down the high spots, primer fill, sand, seal and shoot it.
I don't want to but I'm behind the eightball. I was planning to move into paint sooner or later, looks like sooner and with a compressed schedule.
If you are going into the pool, might as well be a cannonball.

It's sounding more and more like opening a body shop is a good idea. I've never heard of a slow body shop no matter what the economy is doing.
If you go flat/semi black, I highly recommend John Deere Blitz Black. Sprays nicely, easy to do and is very durable. I sprayed with HVLP gun after thinning and used a hardener. Sprayed in makeshift plastic booth in the garage in 2008. Car lives outside primarily and the black still looks great.
Body shop said to call him today, got very excited when I told him we were going to do it at home.
I'm not screwing around, running out of time, perhaps he did not take me serious.

I'm excited to see the process and end result of painting the car at home as I may try this on mine, when will you start?
I do have an extra set of A piller trim, but they're charcoal color. You would need to paint them.
Not much exciting today- Spent most of the day going over the tow vehicles and trailers and loading up with tools and supplies.
I did have time to do up the door handles. I took them apart, sanded and scuffed, used paint adhesion promoter and then hit with trim black. After they are dry I reinstall the lock hardware and glued the rubber gasket back in place with crazy glue ultra gel.

A very long day today.
5.5 hours of driving followed by 2 hours of trying to stuff parts in every conceivable location followed by another 5.5 hours of driving with blinding rain at times. Both ways. The return trip worse.
The GLHS has a clean interior and the rear louvers are in great shape. Very clean rust wise. Needs to be reassembled.
2 Shelby valve covers, several shortblocks, 555's, 520's and 525's, 4-5 2 piece intakes, 3 sets of GLHS rims, pumper rims, crab rims, GLH air dam set, CSX parts, spare Shelby Charger seats, several turbochargers, a big bin full of computers, parts in every nook and crany.

I have to ask... how did you find this score?
He's Gary D, lol.
Nice collection of parts,
I would love more cars but the way our insurance works, they'd never get driven. We don't get a fleet deal or any kind of break, so every car is full price. Basic insurance is around $600, my full size 84 Van with theft and vandalism but no collision, max discount, is $1100 a year.

The wife wants the Rampage bad, she already had purple picked out for the color. It actually runs but has a weak hole for some reason and someone robbed the lower radiator hose off it.
The GLHS will go I'm afraid, I really have more than enough vehicles to keep me busy for some time. I'll do some clean up and hang the nose back on and post it for sale. Not sure I'll bother getting it running, it does come with the original motor though.
