    tu R5 cam springs?

    So what springs are recommended for the R5 cam? I will be trying one out soon and need to know what specs for springs.

    can't go wrong with the comp 26995 setup. There's a thread with part #'s you'll need over on TD.com

    Well IMO you certainly could go wrong using ANY springs if you don't pay close attention to spring rates, coil bind, installed height of spring, open and closed spring pressures, keepers, retainers, retainer to follower clearance, retainer/keeper to guide/seal clearance, valve size, etc. It's all part of the package. Choose wisely... For example; depending on what guides are installed in your cylinder head, you could find yourself extremely close to keeper/retainer to guide/seal clearance at max lift. This is due to increased lift of R5 over what you had previously installed.

    Yeah, I'm aware of all the clearances to check. Just looking for what opening and closing rates are recommended for this cam.

    Comp cams work fine, slightly better than the original S60 springs. I'll dig up the part number or I can sell you some,
