Congrats on the 9! Even better to do it at Drag Week for everyone to see!
I'm pissed as hell that I missed this, I had no idea drag week was starting off here in St Louis this year.. Gateway is my home track!
I assume you like the track?- they just repaved it a couple years ago.
Damn fine job man.

They mention you guys, even though they don't have their facts straight.
Got any pics of the trailer carnage? Fleck and I had conversation about that as you guys pulled away.
Seems like you guys got upstaged by Joe's minivan on Facebook
Also interesting that the facebook crowd likes weird dodges a lot more than Hondas.

I can't see all the parts on Reeve's trailer, but my on my HF trailer most things bolt together... Makes me glad I have welded on thing to tie the parts together (ie. like a roll cage stiffening a car...)
If you look at the tongue you can see two bolts that appears to be where the tongue bolts on. It appears the part that would be welded to the frame broke loose.
It ripped the very thin (too thin!) sheet metal where the tongue bolts to the trailer in both places. After it happened , we looked at other HF trailers that other competitors were using. Many looked suspect in the same area, including JT's by the end of day 5.
Yeah, mine looked a little wobbly was we loaded it into the Dakota. The tounge/neck bar is only a "C" channel and thin as Pat said and it is only held to the square frame by a few bolts in line, so no lateral gusseting or other any connection to the frame.
Ed, got any pics? I'll either mod this one or get a new one before another DW...
