93 Sundance Brakes on an L-Body

I'm helping a friend restore his "84" Rampage. We want to go to the five lug system for brakes. We have access to a 1993 Sundance. How much of the brake system can be used on the Ramp. Rotors, knuckles, calipers etc. Also would we have to change to the Sundance master cylinder?
    thanks
The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic dollars, how fast can you afford to go?

You may want to look at shelgame's new 84 GLH project log. A lot of this has just been discussed. It seems like the real question is which struts do you want to use?

You can swap the front five lug hubs from the Sundance into the knuckles of the Rampage if you can press them out in one piece.
If the Sundance has the Kelsey Hayes one pin front calipers, you can swap the calipers over too for a 20% increase in braking surface.

I'm not sure about the rear of the Rampage if it uses the same hub on spindle setup as the Sundance. I'm sure the answer is on this forum somewhere.

Thanks Cordes, I will check that out. I tried to find something before I posted but really didn't know what search term to use.

Thanks aj, we already have new struts so that may limit us.

No worries on the search business. I can NEVER find anything on here when I really need it. Rob's thread is current and has great discussion going on in it right now. If you don't find what you're looking for in there just post up in here.

1993 has the bolt in front wheel bearing, its not backwards compatible unless you retro-fit everything and do whatever is necessary to run the K-chassis struts on an L body (no clue so I won't speculate)

135sohc, thanks for that info it is useful. We will still get the 93 but just for the engine and fuel system.
