I'm just curious if anyone knows...
Are there any connectors on an 89 t2 harness that would contain pins similar enough to the LM pins on the t1 harness to use in my conversion or no? The reason I ask is I have a damaged t2 harness, and if there are connector pins in it that I can use, it would save me a lot of time being that I already have it in the garage...

The LM pins are only similar to what's in the stereo connectors as far as I know. The SMEC pins are the same for the logic board as the pins in the SBEC. There are lots of those out there still.
Ok, so I never got far enough into this hobby what's the smec and sbec inn relation to t1 and t2? Lol I've always wondered and never thought to ask or look

88-89* Smec is the single module engine controller (2 plugs). The power and logic modules were "essentially" integrated into one box. 90-91* Sbec is the single board engine controller. All electronics are on one circuit board (1 massive plug)
*There are some exceptions on years, such as the CSX
