    Red sled racing results

The first race of the year was at Farmington raceway in NC on sunday. We qualified #1 first pass off the trailer 5.80@131, we remained number through out the day. Went to the semi finals and by then track was very cold and we did not pull enough power out and the car blew the tires off. We lost to a 6.43 car and went 6.47. We were pretty bummed out, the car almost set the track record and it was the cars fast 1/8th pass as well. We will be running IFO in Columbus OH sunday april 27th, hopefully test the new gears before then.

Dang, i can see the frustration there. But still, to set a new best on first pass is cool.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

Going to be all 1/8th events or just that one?
1/8th seems sorta in your favor.

Yea we were really bummed out, for the first time we were doing really well and had a chance to take the win. But it's part of racing, and we did not break anything so that's always a plus.

We do more 1/4 mile races than 1/8 mile, but we do test in the 1/8 a lot because we are always trying to improve the front half. Also Farmington is $3000 pay out with a $65 tech card, so it's worth the drive. We run 72mm with a 24.5 tire.
