Very nice looking! How did they machine the spines? EDM, broach, mill,...?? Material? Heat treat? Coating/s?

I also see that they are somewhat helical, how aggressive is the pitch compared to stock? Are the teeth profiles "standard" (I know there are machines that specifically make gears)?

I know...tons and tons of questions. I also recognize that you might not be willing to share some of it because you are in competition, so I understand if that's the case.

I'm almost certain a broach, can't remember 100%. Everything is 8620 and case hardened. After that the gears were REM treated.

The gears are a standard pitch and I believe 15-20*, I'll have to dig up my drawings to double check and are less aggressive than the factory gears. Helical gear are a lot stronger than a spur gear. If you have a thrust problem then I would look into spur gears. But I have yet to see any problems, spurs gears repel each other a lot worse.
I don't have a problem giving some information, just depends on what info.

Hmm, I would be interested in getting some ID splines cut into the bearing end of a Peloquin Diff.

Damn, where were you a few years ago? Could have saved me some headache.

What about the 3rd gear drum setup for more clutch's? Maybe even the direct clutch as its on all the time, IIRC.
