    biggest/tallest tires on stock suspension?

What the tallest tires anyone has run on a stock strut setup? I've always wanted to run a huge tire on the front of a FWD car with a skinny on the back on the street. I just love the look of giant slicks and skinny on track setups, I don't see why that can't transfer to a street legal setup. Should help with traction too. I've got a brand new set of 225/70 15s.... But just looking at how close my 225/50 15s are I don't think those are going to fit without custom wheels, suspension or both lol. I'm probably just going to go with 205/60s but would love to go bigger. I have no issue with cutting the fenders lol.

225/60r15 front with 185/55r15 in back.

Makes the car very unstable and there are no more good 225/60r15 in production. The taller 225 tires also have a smaller contact patch.

Running the staggered setup makes unstable? Im assuming your talking about cornering? 've been pricing tires and have been looking at 205/60s, 205/65s, and 215/60s. I'm going to put them on 6.5 crabs and am leaning towards the 215s. Any mods to get the 225/60s to fit? How wide of a wheel did you have them on? I wish they still made 225/50s... I'd just stick with them.

Staggered with less contact patch in the rear makes the car very unstable. Staggered with more on the rear drives very decently (not much more understeer and it seems more predictable).

The setup I had going could get out of control in a straight line with a little groove in the pavement. You could also make the back end come out very easily. Very fun but not comforting. You can't drive the car like you trust it.

Going from 185 to 225 in front makes the rear less stable? Id like to run wider in the front also on my shadow. I would also like to move the rear wheel/tire out so it matches the front. I dont dig that the rears are tucked so far in.

Really? That is awesome, I need one of these cars..

I tried (unsuccessfully) to slide my mini around with a 1.25" PB bar on 165's in back. Tried everything 205's even 245's front, turn in under hard braking.. still nothing.
