Any ideas why the springs on the sprung hub are wearing thru the retaining plates? I dont even have 10,000 miles on it.

Pics?
^^Yeah, pics would help. I'm wondering if you don't have excessive chatter? They didn't hit the flywheel bolts did they?
Tag to follow this one. I've never had that problem with any of my transmissions.
No flywheel bolt hitting, and really no chatter at all....the springs look like they have started to wear through, nor was I terribly abusive on takeoffs. Not real happy about it, thats for sure. Ill get some pics on tomorrow.
You launch it really hard a lot?
Could just be a manufacturer defect. If so, I'm sure Chris will take care of it for you.
Yeah, Chris will take care of you the best he can. He helped me out, even after I mucked up! It wasn't free, but it wasn't nearly as expensive as it could have been.
Here Is some picks

How much does the disc "wobble" on the input shaft?
Any chance you can provide more then one picture? We would like to see both side of the clutch disk and pressure plate so we can get them to our manufacture for review. How does the TOB look?
Thanks!

Okay better pics are up, I even took a side-on to show minimal wear on clutch. Car never got driven once it got cold as it had no heater hoses (hybrid l-body), I pulled the engine as I sold the car and the transmission assembly is going into a h body. The throw out bearing is in good shape, which is what I thought was causing all the racket. Car was running t3/t4 hybrid, with .63 exhaust side and .50 trim cold side, ported head and npr intercooler. Never track raced, some good hard road pulls. The pics are on pages 2-3

Chris,
Pm sent.
Anyone on why this is failing..?..
Best to wait for Chris' answer.
Through his silence I guess Ive gotten my answer.......been like 5yrs since buying, kinda stuck in the ;its to old for us to cover; even though the material on the clutch clearly shows little usage. Id been happy with some type of answer besides that. Any suggestions?
