Figured that out a long time ago. Just let them keep leaking. They will eventually stop.

Re: TU 6 puck and yellow pp, sprung hub coming apart

I had a blue plate with a 6 puck do the same thing in my car a few years ago. Sent it in and I had "too much play" in my input shaft or something to that effect. Measured it while the car was apart and it was minimal. Threw another clutch in and 4 years later, guess what, still working great. I honestly believe that it has to do with the quality of the clutch disc. Never got a replacement or for that matter my old clutch/pressure plate back.

You can absolutely have too much wobble of the disc on the input shaft. This will cause all sorts of issues. There are several reasons this can happen, even to a new disc. When using a clutch that has a modified fulcrum in the pressure plate this tolerance is VERY important.

The point was there was/is very little play and it has been fine since.

I notice you are located in PA. If you will be attending Chryslers@Carlisle in July we suggest you speak directly with Marc our clutch manufacturer. He will be at our boothI-97 to I-100.
