    Bent Radiator support replacement?

I have a 85 turbo Z that the rad support is bent on the bottom from falling off of a tow dolly. the car drives straight, the motor mount bracket didnt get bent, the attachments are all still good, just the very bottom is bent up. Is it a feasible repair to cut out the lower bent support and weld in good lower support?

I don't see why not, body shops do it all the time. I would recommend bolting or temporarily tack welding some bracing across the support and throughout the engine bay before cutting it out, just to keep things square, since that piece provides most of the structural support for the front end.

That would be even better, assuming he has a frame machine he can put it on to make sure everything is where it needs to be before and after welding. My GLHS took a moderately hard shunt to the RF corner which put cracks and ripples in the passenger side floorpan as collateral damage. My frame guy was able to pull the car straight and weld up the cracks with the frame under tension so it didn't flex back when he released it.
