    VNT Vacuum Harness help

I have a 1990 VNT Shelby Daytona and the vac lines are beyond repair. I have started the process of doing a vac block set up and am going to use nickel/copper brake lines as vac lines instead of hose or plastic (hopefully it will look a little cleaner that way). Just looking for any advice or things to look out for from anyone that has done one themselves. I have the FSM and have found a few diagrams and threads on here but any additional resources/pictures would be great. Will post pics when finished. Wish me luck!

    Re: VNT Vacuum Harness help

Pics of the progress so far. I have a couple more lines to run for the VNT solenoids, should have it up and running this afternoon. The hose going from the intake to the vac block is a "emissions hose" for a dodge from the help section at auto zone. Couldn't have worked out better!

Nice to see this car going back together. Be sure to put all the orifices and 1-way valves in.

Kuz, I, too, really like the way you used hard lines and am interested in doing the same. Would you mind sending me your pix to my email? I have an '89 CSX that I purchased apart & many of the vacuum lines are broken.
Are you familiar with the Vibrant fittings? I have a vacuum block but think the hard lines are much cleaner!!!
    Thanks,

    Mark

There are numerous companies that sell plastic line equivalents to our production lines that can be bent in the same manner with a heat gun.
With the VNT, be sure to avoid adding any length or volume to the lines as it will have detrimental effects on the end result.
