who is driving the farthest to SDAC? anyone coming from California?
Anyone coming in to sdac that has access to an aries or reliant header panel (the fiberglass part that houses the headlights and grille) that is coming to sdac. None of the junkyards around me have them anymore. I'm looking for two door k car doors as well. Thx

With a co-driver. Taking turns.
In the west , stop at nights after 12 hour days of driving.
After the mountains and into the plains...not sure yet.
Might drive longer at night too as the scenery is pretty flat.

That's a haul Johnny! Having someone else on the trip makes such a huge difference, even if they're driving their own car. Pure solos are OK but they can get old after 2000 miles. The weather can also make a massive difference if you don't have AC, though I know you're living in the lap of luxury in your GTP.
Registered for the show, hotel booked, autocross registered and Carlisle registered and room booked. Plan to get there on Saturday to break up the trip, but should be there by midday.

Tracy's never been up that way, so she wanted to take Friday to drive up and then get there on Saturday. The Friday night hotel is like $140 or so? I don't want to pay that and she doesn't want to drive 13 or so hours at once, which I don't blame her. Probably take a long day Friday, recoop with a shower and nice dinner somewhere and then finish up the next day to arrive Saturday around noon or so. Still haven't decided which way to go either.

Good times. She'll get used to it. This morning myself and Joy were discussing how to minimize baby items in the vehicle on account of the high probability of good swap meets this year. That takes time.
