Today I finished up installing poly bushings, struts, oil pan, brakes, etc. That was a pretty decent two days. Who wants to guess what I found sitting at the bottom of my 2.5 pan when I went to put the non-balance shaft pan in there?

No. Even worse. There was a super nice baffled oil pan with trap doors and the whole 9 yards. Pulling the pan was totally unnecessary. To make matters worse, the baffled pan can't go on unless the shelby rear mount comes off. I'm not pulling that thing unless I'm pulling the trans tp on went the 2.2 pan.

it was a leprechaun who had hoffa's wallet. It was like a scene out of the goonies. Except in Spanish.

I've got to go back out and look at a caliper that's hanging up. It didn't shoot a ton of fluid out of the bleeder valve when I cracked it, so I'm pretty sure it's just the pinston hung up in the bore and not a line thank goodness.

    Re: Official SDAC-25 Discussion Thread

as i installed a new stock muffler on my neon the other day, i noticed one of my gas tank straps was broken. so thats what the noise was lol.

21$ later, i had new tank straps.

neon is ready for sdac. r152a (canned air..... for real... it works like crazy) and red angel stop leak in the system just in case (may have a small leak) and the AC blows cold..... like 40deg f at idle sitting there cold. muffler is quiet. cruise control works (thanks cordes for the jy run a few years back) and the stereo is killer.

gotta cut the grass at the house and pack and im on the road sunday morning.

    see you all there.

    I'll be waiting Brian.
Errands and packing tomorrow. Need to pick up my mounted slicks (just in case), couldn't get long studs mounted in rears so not going to bother with the full set of bogarts.
Planning to leave NC Sat afternoon and be there by midnight-ish. Figured there'd be other early birds.

Do they have Methanol? Is there anywhere locally that might carry it?

    Hey Kelly.

Their site says that they do have methanol available at the shed $4.10/gallon.
