    Best value ATF +4 nowadays?

    Hi folks,

Canadian Walmarts don't seem to have the "Mopar" ATF +4 any more. They've only got Castrol, but want $10 a quart for it.

Anyone know what's around cheaper, that's known good stuff?

Scoped out a couple of older threads, but things may have changed.

Not sure at the moment that I'm not going to take it to a dealer for a flush, filter and PCM update.

    thanks,

I've read that Valvoline makes the ATF+4 for Mopar and for NAPA. Just a piece of info.

Hmmm we've got everything else in supertech, maybe I need to check a few more locations.

Good to know that Valvoline is the source, will look out for that too.

You think that's expensive? Mopar 8+9 speed fluid is like $60 a quart. Atf4 at the dealer is like 10-15.

i only use the Valvoline for 7-8 a quart, the cheaper fluid (pronto) doesn't say full synthetic even though it should be

Then it's a good thing I'm not feeding a 9 speed, what do they put in it, unicorn blood?

    But, you think that's expensive?

    This stuff is $90 a quart... https://www.acklandsgrainger.com/AGI...150310182852:s

But I can get same thing, different bottle for $3-$4 a quart.

The +4 has license number printed on every bottle, even the cheap walmart house stuff. If it doesn't then don't use it.

To be labeled as ATF+4 it has to meet Chrysler specs and they even have to use the Mopar additive package for it. Anything labeled ATF+4 is good no matter what the brand. I use the Supertech stuff from Walmart as its cheapest.
