Yeah, I had everything powder coated Shelby Blue before I actually painted the car. Wish I would have done them in the Viper Blue Pearl like the rest of the car, but it still should look pretty good.

Yeah, my daytona isn't too bad, just some dings on the roof. my csx-vnt got pounded bad, the flat hood got punished. thankfully my shelby lancer and charger were in the garage.
How do they get damaged so differently?

just think its how they were designed. I had thick car covers on all of them, that definitely helped. Also the daytona has fiberglass hood and hatch. my 1998 caravan doesn't have a single dent from the hail and did not have a cover on it, go figure. my jeep commander has $2100 worth of dings in it.

Bummer about the hail. I sure know how that goes. I got a couple dings in my car last spring to say the least.
You would be amazed at how much variation there can be in what gets damaged very badly and what comes out unscathed. A couple blocks north of me they had grapefruit sized hail. One of my cars in the backyard received hardly a scratch and others were pounded hard.

That's good to hear. The one in the picture had been melting for 2+ hours by the time my wife got home for that photo. It's insane how quickly the weather can turn bad and how concentrated it can be. I was at school 12mi away and I'm not sure that it even rained there.
